Occupational Therapist, Pediatrics
Occupational therapists help those suffering from disabilities, illness recoveries or injuries to help adjust to everyday life. They evaluate patients' needs and conditions through physical examinations and other tests. They establish a treatment plan with the patient and discuss the various accommodations necessary. Throughout the treatment process, they monitor patients' health and contact families or caregivers to keep them informed. They often demonstrate various tasks and help patients learn how to adjust their lifestyle to better fit their condition.
